Presented by the nonprofit Okanagan TV & Film Industry Society, OKIFF brings independent Canadian and international cinema to the Okanagan. The festival showcases distinctive storytelling across narrative, documentary, short-form and experimental film categories, connecting global voices with local audiences through film screenings, an awards gala, filmmaker Q&As, local food and wine experiences, and interactive community events, a true community gathering rooted in cinema.
Screenings take place across the Okanagan at:
Landmark Cinemas, Kelowna
Landmark Cinemas, West Kelowna
Landmark Cinemas, Penticton
Galaxy Theatre, Vernon
Rotary Centre Mary Irwin Theatre (Opening Night)
Metro Hub (Local Award-Winning Films, Friday Evening)
With film submissions received from across the globe, OKIFF is building a truly international platform, spotlighting the Okanagan as a growing destination for storytelling, cultural exchange and screen production.
The festival includes the Okanagan TV & Film Industry Forum, an industry-focused gathering that connects emerging talent with seasoned industry professionals. Through panels, speaker sessions, workshops and networking events, the Forum brings industry professionals together to exchange knowledge, build connections, and advance careers in TV and film.
