Intro to Oil Painting - with Sparkle!

Join us for this three week course where you will learn both the fundamentals of oil painting, as well as unique ways you can incorporate gold leaf, and other materials into your work to add an extra bit of sparkle. During this course you will work on two paintings side by side, which will allow you to play with different colour combinations and paint application techniques. By adding gold leaf elements to your work you create art that captures and reflects light in a special eye-catching way. While this course will be an awesome addition to the skill set of any artist, we also welcome beginners as we will take you through the basics of working with oil paint. All skill levels welcome.

All materials included – 3 sessions, 2 hours each (6 hours of class time)
Hosted at the Rotary Centre for the Arts, 421 Cawston Ave, in the Painting & Drawing studio.

Class dates:
Saturday Morning, 10-12pm, July 5, 12 + 26
