Jeffrey Peterson was raised in a small pulp mill town in Woodfibre, British Columbia. He attended the University of British Columbia where he received his degree in history and where he completed Law School. He was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1988 in Kelowna and has practiced in Kelowna with a specialty in Family Law, including mediation and preparing Views of the Child Reports. For over 20 years he was contracted counsel to Ministry of Children and Family Development and now represents families seeking relief against the ministry. He has been an active member of the local Women’s Shelter Board for more than 20 years. He and his wife enjoy walking, kayaking, and many more of the other recreational pursuits offered by the Okanagan. Mr. Peterson attempts to provide legal services at reasonable prices and understands the emotional stress and financial disruption that accompanies any family law problem. He strives to provide practical and reliable legal advice to people in need.
