Winter Street Market & Light Up was held on Saturday, November 29, 2025. Over 17,000 people visited the Market over a 6-hour period (12pm-6pm), with Stuart Park filled to the brim for Light Up at 5:00pm! It was a wonderful day full of plenty of fun and magic.
The Central Okanagan Food Bank served over 600 hot chocolates and raised $2747.00 in sales and donations.

We hope everyone had a blast at the 2024 Downtown Winter Street Market & Light Up. It was a magical day, kicking off the holiday season with thousands of you in the heart of Downtown.

Kick off the Holiday Season at the Downtown Kelowna Winter Street Market & Light Up on Saturday, November 29th at Stuart Park.
This free, festive outdoor celebration features artisan and market vendors, family-friendly activities, live entertainment, and Photos with Santa!
Enjoy hot chocolate by donation (proceeds to the Central Okanagan Food Bank).
Come Downtown for the Market and shopping at Downtown businesses; stay Downtown for dinner or holiday cheer with friends!

PHOTOS WITH SANTA
Photos With Santa returns to Winter Street Market thanks to the generous support of ATB Wealth!
Photos with Santa are now FULLY BOOKED – we will try our best to accommodate walk-ups but cannot guarantee a photo with Santa.
If you have booked your photos, please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. Late arrivals cannot be accommodated and will be moved to the next available time or will revert to the walk-up line.
Santa Photo Tent will close promptly at 4:45pm as Santa needs time to get to the Light Up for his moment in the spotlight. He will be on site until at least 5:30pm & will gladly take photos with your personal cameras if he is able.

Winter Street Market & Light Up is an outdoor event. While Photos With Santa is stationed inside a large tent, we ask visitors to please dress accordingly for the weather.

LETTERS TO SANTA
Sacks of letters are arriving at the North Pole, and the Canada Post elves are busy helping Santa with his mail. This is an excellent activity for the little ones to practice their spelling and share what is on their hearts this holiday season. Make sure to put the correct address on there, as every letter sent out will hear back from Santa himself!

Make sure you’re at Stuart Park at 5:00pm when Santa & Mayor Dyas officially light the Downtown Kelowna Christmas Tree!
Hot Chocolate & Warm Up Station
Warm up with a cup of hot chocolate and support the Central Okanagan Food Bank. Get your hot chocolate with a min. donation of $5; for $10 you’ll also receive a Winter Street Market branded mug (while supplies last).
SKATING at Stuart Park
Subject to weather conditions
Lace up those blades and hit the ice at Stuart Park. No skates? No worries! Skate rentals are available on-site. Free public skating is available all day long; the Stuart Park Outdoor Rink, weather permitting.
