Zhongda Huang

An Okanagan-based artist and creative lead of Vincent’s Light Fine Art Studio. His work is rooted in direct observation of the Okanagan landscape — its lakeshores, mountain ridges, city lights, changing skies, and quiet moments of life.

Through the Okanagan Light Series, Zhongda creates art that reflects the atmosphere, memory, and lived experience of the region. Combining photographic composition with layered painterly technique, his work focuses on light, structure, and emotional presence. Each painting is created as a way of preserving the beauty of the Okanagan and sharing it with those who live here, visit here, or carry a connection to this place.

Asana Hues

Asana Hues (b. Casey Hughes, 1991, Coldstream, BC) is a visual artist whose work explores patterns of nature, consciousness, and sacred form. Rooted in Yogic and Buddhist philosophy, Western Esotericism, alchemy, and Celtic heritage, his practice bridges spirituality and material process through geometry, meditation, and intuitive principles.

Working primarily with hand-mulled watercolour pigments on wood panels, he combines traditional methodologies with contemporary approaches to create contemplative works exploring harmony, interconnectedness, and the unseen structures shaping experience. He holds a BFA with a minor in Art History from UBC Okanagan and is currently pursuing a Master of Design at UBCO.

His work has been exhibited throughout the Okanagan, including at the Kelowna Art Gallery and Headbones Gallery, with a permanent public sculpture in Lake Country, and presented at Burning Man, Shambhala Music Festival, Harvard Divinity School, and the University of Oxford.
