More than a movement training course, this series is designed to help you explore how and why you dance. Attendees can expect to learn beginner-friendly fundamentals in hip-hop, funk, and freestyle development. Runs every Tuesday from February 21 to March 14 from 6 to 7:30 in the Sun Fm dance studio at the RCA.

Led by Manny de Jesus, this class will bring out your most creative and confident self. Over the course of three days, Manny will guide you through a series of grooves, routines, and improvisational drills that will leave you feeling inspired to move.

Whether you’re new to dance and looking to find your own style or a contemporary mover hoping to expand your vocabulary, Manny is excited to work with you!

This class is designed for youth and adults aged 15+. Registration is $80.

About the Instructor:
Manny de Jesus (BScK CSCS) is a high-performance coach from Hamilton, ON, who has spent years working with both elite athletes and dancers alike. As a child, he was raised with Latin foundations but eventually fell in love with the freeform nature of hip-hop, funk, and other street dance styles.
